About this workshop
Two production systems, four live sessions, zero slides. You build everything yourself starting with a Pull Request and ending with an AI agent that investigates its own production incidents. Weekend one: ChangeGuard, an AI-powered change-intelligence platform for a connected-vehicle telemetry service. Weekend two: an Industrial Digital Twin a virtual plant you deploy, break, and recover in real time. By the end you'll have two complete, documented systems, built end to end, on your own.
Why this matters
Shipping code isn't the hard part anymore knowing why production broke, who's responsible, and how to fix it safely is. Most DevOps courses stop at "deploy the app." This one goes further: you'll build an AI agent that investigates real incidents using MCP and RAG, and operate an industrial platform through actual failures reactor overheating, database outages, memory leaks, bad deployments not ones you just read about. That's the skill separating senior DevOps/SRE and platform engineers from the rest.

Virtual plant simulators streaming telemetry over MQTT and Kafka → microservices architecture → Docker → Terraform provisioning on AWS (VPC, EKS, RDS) → Kubernetes deployment → Helm + Argo CD GitOps.
Sun 27 Sep — Industrial Digital Twin: Secure, Observe, Recover
CI/CD + DevSecOps (SonarQube, Trivy, Gitleaks, Checkov) → full observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, logging, tracing) → live production incidents — reactor overheating, Kafka consumer failure, DB outage, memory leak, bad deployment, traffic spike → self-healing automation → disaster recovery → capstone challenge.
Sat 3 Oct — ChangeGuard: Change to Deployment
Git → Pull Request → AI change-risk analysis → CI/CD (tests, quality gates, security scans, Docker build) → Argo CD/GitOps → Kubernetes deployment.
Sun 4 Oct — ChangeGuard: Detect, Investigate, Remediate
Production degradation detection with Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry → MCP-based live investigation across Git, Argo CD, Kubernetes, Kafka and observability data → RAG historical-incident matching → AI root cause and blast-radius report → human-approved rollback → recovery verification.
